In this album your affinity for shallow DoF and fantastic bokehs is so visible :) .. I liked many but in some I think a little more narrow DoF should’ve been there..like in the very first pt. vishwa mohan bhatt should’ve been in lil more in focus ..in no.6 again pt. vishwamohan bhatt’s should entirely be in focus..in 43 with saxophone even the background should’ve been tiny lil more in focus …I do admire the work done on all the captures and my favs are 1,2,6, 11,13, 16, 17, 22, 32, 43 & 47 …you present a strong perspective in all your captures ..that’s a trademark suhas .. and I’m blown away but the perspective you’ve presented in 22 ..that’s awesome .. thanks for giving us visual pleasure! :) ..by the way, where is konkan cha album???

      Thanks Tvibt …

This was experiment with depth … so the shallower I could get .. I rarely liked the way canon primes render objects at 2.8 to 4 …. they lack the micro contrast and in turn shape of the objects … with my 50 1.8 zeiss I like to play at all focal lengths … it is awesome when is comes to rendering out of focus objects … Thanks for the long comment . I guess as I work more with canon primes I ll know more about how they tend to render things …

Keep writing comments like these and soon I ll come out with Konkan album … :) first ‘Patan’ Album is pending though

hi suhas… when you mentioned about your experiments with shallower depth I closely observed the exif you’ve provided in all shots and all of them have been shot at the max aperture available which made me understand your experiment :D …. speaking about the out of focus object rendition at max aperture i particularly liked 16, 40 & 51 beautiful and wasn’t impressed by 26 n 52 ..saying so, did I miss any fine details which you feel should also be considered??? please share your thought on the same.. you remember I was pursuing you to write reviews of equipments you’ve used so far so that enthus like me will get immense help ..well, you just did that! :) :) ..if he ever wants to get primes I’ll urge him to try 50 F1.8 zeiss first :) ..

I won’t mind help us out in any form… be it reviews or comments! :) thanx!

      Thanks again .
To understand lens you have to try and use old manual lens and get a bit into lens design … not deep but just a little bit .
