I am Suhas Desale, a computer engineer by qualification, at the moment, trying to complete my first film, which I began about two years back. I have been a passionate photographer for abt four years now. Started it as a hobby and now it's an integral part of my life. Ladakh is a beautiful land, the landscapes inspire you.
Though i am glad the way shots have turned out, i certainly feel there is way too much possible.
These photos do only 20-30% justice to whatever i was able to see.
Being on the bike puts you under pressure to reach targets, as condition are not so hospitable.
A big thanks for the feature Suhas.

saw all you albums. awesome stuff!
read in one of the comments you use a nikon. which one do you use? hv been contemplating shifting from canon to nikon for a while now. currently use a 400D with 18-200 sigma but not been that happy with the performance.
are some of these images HDR’s?

Canon and Nikon both are equally good . 400D is brilliant camera , and so is ur lense . Dont change it .
I dont do HDRs .

Chandrakant ! These were shot in June 2009.
The weather differs every year, last year the roads opened up a bit earlier.
U can check it online. there are quite a few people who maintain blogs & keep u posted.
Try to check.
