You register your canon product online and see if its authentic or not .

I tink grey market cameras are brought into the country unofficially hence the price is without taxes . Because of no tax the product is officially unsupported by service warranty.You have to have rapport with the dealer to buy it for support.

trust the market . I wont hesitate if I hv to buy something from Grey market .
4 months back i brought 5D mark 2 . But stakes were too high if you look at the cost . SO i went to Canon dealer instead .
